SettleEasy Atlas is operated by HQS, a company registered in Ontario, Canada.

It was created to help newcomers move through their settlement journey smoothly. Most of what goes wrong in a move is not that the information does not exist — it is published, somewhere. What is missing is the order to do things in, which parts apply to you, and which windows close if you miss them. That is the gap this fills.

Canada is live. Nigeria is in preview, with far fewer guides than Canada. The United Kingdom is next.

• Sets out the steps for settling in a country, in the order they actually happen, for your status and your province.
• Links the official government page behind each step, so you can check anything here against the source.
• Shows when each guide was last checked, so you can judge how fresh it is.
• Lists verified settlement agencies and service providers, and says plainly when a listing has not been verified.
• Runs a community where newcomers answer each other. Every post is scanned before it appears, links to anything but official sources are removed, a new member's posts are read by a person until they are established, and every community anyone creates is approved before it exists.

• We are not immigration consultants and not lawyers. Only a licensed RCIC or a lawyer can advise on your individual case.
• We do not prepare, submit, review or advise on applications, and we never ask to see your application.
• We will never ask you for payment, and nobody here should ever ask you to send money. If someone does, report the post.
• We do not guarantee any outcome. Nobody can promise you a visa, a job or a salary, and anyone who does should worry you.
• We will never sell your information, and we will never run ads. Nobody will be able to pay to put a message in front of you here.
• We do not read every community post before it appears — we could not, honestly. Posts are scanned automatically and anything reported is read by a person. If you see something wrong, report it.

The platform is free to use today. There is nothing to buy and nothing is held back behind a payment. HQS pays for it.

We are not going to claim more certainty than we have about what comes next. This is early, and how it supports itself in the long run is genuinely not settled. If that changes, it will be said here plainly rather than left for people to discover.

Two things are not up for revision: we will never sell your information, and we will never run ads. What you tell us about your status, your family or what you are struggling with is not a product, and this will not become a place where somebody can pay to put a message in front of you. People making decisions this consequential, under this much pressure, are exactly who advertising works on hardest. That is the reason, and it does not expire.
